Super Zulu Super Effort

Jan 30, 2016

From the second the gates opened Super Zulu dominated the first race at Ballina, exploding out of the gates to lead the field easily. Jockey Daniel Griffin nursed Zulu around the turn to kick away for a comfortable win with the Ian Savins trained Passion To Win 1.3lengths away in second. Running a nice time of 58.3 for the 1000m and a final sectional of 34.2, the win was celebrated on the day by excited owners Gerry Mcguire and Phil Webber, who race the 4yo mare by Ukok Warrior along with Andrew Winch, Charlene Fabian and the Adam Clark syndicate.
