Scotty Be Gotti Returns To Form

Nov 07, 2015

A well judged ride by jockey Daniel Griffin saw Scotty Be Gotti back in the winners stall after a string of unlucky runs and minor placings. Standing well over 17.2h and with a gigantic stride, Scotty needs a lot of room to move. After being given the instuctions to keep him in the clear, Griffin rode the perfect uninterrupted race to secure the win. Finding no pace in the race early and a horse full of running underneath him, Griffin allowed the big horse a little rein to effortlessly make ground around the outside of the field. By the top of the straight the pair had hit the lead and had the momentum needed to break away from the pack. A big congratulations to sisters Margie Callaughan and June Baker.
