A Little Magic From Peru For Camayoc?

The Incan god of wealth 'Ekkeko' must have been watching the races at Grafton on 15th October and cast a little magic Camayoc's way to see him win the CL2 1400m. Camayoc burst out of the pack with an electric turn of foot 200m from home and was drawing further away from them on the line under the expert guidance of Timothy Bell. In ancient Incan civilization, Camayoc is the name given to expert Incan accountants, an occupation he may need to live up to if he and his siblings can produce some more wins like this. Camayoc was bred and is raced by Jonathon & Heather Lawler in partnership with Don & Irena Beard and is out of Quipu, a beautiful mare they raced together years ago. Quipu was a very exciting mare whose career was cut short but fortunately seems to pass her abilities on to her offspring. All are eagerly awaiting the debut of 3yo filly 'Espiritu' which in Incan translates to the grey ghost....
